Donate A Vehicle

School Health Clinics of Santa Clara County operates a vehicle donation program to generate funds for operation of our six school based clinics.

School Health Clinics accepts contributions of new and used automobiles, small pick-up trucks, and sport utility vehicles, running or not. A free and convenient pick-up will be arranged, and a tax-deductible contribution will benefit the donor as well as the children receiving medical care from School Health Clinics.

Nationally, children are the most medically underserved group in the United States . With 1.85 million uninsured children in California, and an estimated 30,000 uninsured children in Santa Clara County, the school clinics are filling a gap in the health care system by providing affordable, available, and easily accessible health care services to those with few or no other options. School Health Clinics is the only organization providing primary medical care to students and community youth at schools in Santa Clara County .

Treating all levels of both acute and chronic illnesses (just like any other community medical clinic), our school clinics are considered Primary Care Providers by health insurance companies. Services provided to children at the clinics include immunizations, eye exams, physical examinations, treatment of minor illnesses and injuries, diagnostic laboratory tests, prescriptions, and health education. Each of our 6 clinics is strategically located in school districts with low-income student populations.
